The R/V Martin Sheen, named for the Golden Globe, Emmy and Screen Actors’ Guild awardee and longtime Sea Shepherd supporter, joined the Sea Shepherd fleet in 2014 as a research vessel. Since then, it has been sailing the seas, gathering data on marine debris, micro-plastics, salmon farming, ocean pollution and other critical problems facing marine wildlife and their imperiled ecosystems.
